I used a whole array of fabrics for this project. The backgrounds are light creams & off-whites from my stash. The colors are a wonderful mix of rich, saturated colors from a variety of our collections - peach, caramel, chocolate, aqua, chartreuse, apple green, butter yellow, pumpkin orange, salmon pink, taupe & tangerine.

I love the resulting style - traditional, whimsical & a bit bohemian all at the same time! This is a fun & simple quilt and is great as an intro to applique as the circle is such a large & easy piece to work with.
Pattern includes special color & applique hints & instructions for the simple starch method of applique.
